Cosmetex 23 Program

Cosmetex 22 Program

Innovation and excellence is achieved when we bring the world’s best practitioners together in a contemporary, multidisciplinary educational forum. That’s why we’ve been successfully hosting Australasia’s premier conference in cosmetic medical practice since 1999 with our 2022 event fully subscribed 6 weeks prior.   So register early to avoid disappointment!

Cosmetex provides a unique forum for us to get together, share our experiences and learn from each other. As cosmetic medical and cosmetic surgical procedures are ever more in demand, the need to stay abreast of developments in the industry and stay ahead of the hype is intensified. Raising standards and protecting patients is the ethos of the Australasian College of Cosmetic Surgery & Medicine and I’m sure you’ll be impressed when you see the range of topics to be covered in our program – there are gems waiting for you to take away.

Our hand-selected keynote speakers are trailblazers and torchbearers, renowned for their expertise and influence. They are thought leaders, innovators, and pioneers, who are passionate about the cosmetic industry and industry-changing technology and innovation.

What Cosmetex delegates are saying.

"Cosmetex 2022 was a breath of fresh air, the standard of presentations was overall much higher than we have become accustomed to with so many conferences, and the venue selection allowed for a more intimate function, no cast of thousands in which you lose yourself in a sea of young faces who seem to be there more for the glam and social media opportunities. Cosmetex 2023 is shaping up to be even better and is highly recommended for those who want to get up to speed with all the latest".

"As a Cosmetic Doctor and registrar with Australasian College of Cosmetic Surgery and Medicine, I had the pleasure and honour of attending Cosmetex 2022 in Sydney . Cosmetex is one unique event, it showed how practitioners are very well welcomed and supported in the field. Cosmetex provided us the rarer opportunities to meet and greet international and local  speakers and mentors. It is a very welcoming educational and social event for all practitioners. I strongly recommend Cosmetex for continuity of professional development and network building. Thank you for the great event".

"Cosmetex 2022 was a great opportunity for Medical and Surgical Fellows to re-visit and expand their knowledge in both fields to enhance their Cosmetic practices. Given the current medico political climate the ACCSM and its Fellows need to be at the forefront and leaders in the practice of Cosmetic Surgery and Medicine. It is always a great venue to catch up with colleagues and friends  especially from interstate. I would highly recommend and endorse attendance at Cosmetex 2023".

"Fabulous conference with great content and collegiate spirit, without the hoopla".

BSc, MBBS, FRACGP, Prof Cert Skin Cancer Surgery

Dr Imaan Joshi is a cosmetic physician and specialist GP who works exclusively in procedural work that includes skin. She has a background in surgical training (Obstetrics and Gynecology) and when she left that training path in 2011, she wanted to continue honing her skills in procedural work. Since 2015, Dr Imaan has added to her surgical skillset and repertoire by venturing into Aesthetic Medicine and additionally has undertaken further training in Dermoscopy and Skin Cancer Surgery, since the two related fields often go hand in hand.

Dr Imaan founded Skin Essentials as she saw a need for patients to be better informed and aware of the potential for subtle rejuvenation while minimising risks in a medical setting that respects the fact that it’s an area with rare but significant risks. She approaches skin and aesthetic concerns holistically, with a focus on short, medium and longterm aesthetic goals that include improving chronic skin conditions such as acne, redness/ sensitivity and pigmentation disorders.
