Jason is Ahpra’s National Director of Cosmetic Surgery and Compliance. The Cosmetic Surgery Enforcement Unit was established in response to the independent review into the regulation of medical practitioners who perform cosmetic surgery. The CSEU manages all cosmetic surgery related notifications and all advertising issues related to regulated health practitioners.

Ahpra’s Compliance function is responsible for monitoring the compliance of health practitioners with restrictions on their registration to enable continued safe practice.

Prior to Ahpra, Jason was a senior manager at the Civil Aviation Safety Authority responsible for developing and implementing safety regulation of flying and maintenance organisations. 

Jason also enjoyed a career as an Air Force officer with aviation experience on AP-3C Orion military surveillance aircraft. He has led and flown on combat operations in Afghanistan and Iraq and managed major aviation acquisition projects including the E-7 Wedgetail Airborne Early Warning and Control aircraft.

Byong Cho, a pioneer in the exosome industry, has been the founder, CEO, and CTO of ExoCoBio Inc since 2017. He majored in molecular biology from 1991 to 1997 for a BS and MSc degree and achieved a Techno-MBA degree from KAIST, South Korea. With this unique combination, over the last two decades, he has been highly successful in technology commercialization in the venture capital industry as well as biotech management. He has generated significant returns on investment from early-stage biotech startups, including Medytox (Botulinum toxin aesthetics/pharmaceuticals), Viromed (Gene therapy), and others. The combined market capitalization of these companies reached approximately $5 billion. Moreover, he is the only person with hands-on experience in the Initial Public Offering (IPO) of two biotech startups in South Korea. In January 2017, leveraging his extensive experience in biotech, aesthetics, and investment, he established ExoCoBio to create an exosome-based regenerative therapeutics and aesthetics business. Dr Alexandra Manta is a clinical researcher committed to advancing the field of orbital and oculoplastic surgery through research and innovation. Dr Manta completed her training in ophthalmology in Romania and the United Kingdom and is a Fellow of the Royal College of Ophthalmologists (UK). She subsequently completed three fellowships in Orbital, Lacrimal, and Oculoplastic Surgery under renowned oculoplastic surgeons including Prof Timothy Sullivan, Miss Michele Beaconsfield and Prof Robert Goldberg.

During an academic fellowship at UCLA’s Stein Eye Institute, she gained a strong interest in research and began pursuing basic science and clinical research projects. Dr Manta supports Queensland Eye Institute research on the pathophysiologic involvement of collagen in eyelid laxity disorders and investigating the effect of downregulation of IGF-1R expression in orbital fibroblasts derived from patients with Thyroid Eye Disease through genome editing. She is also involved several thyroid eye disease drug trials.

She has been published in peer-reviewed journals and authored chapters in medical textbooks.

Dr Manta is active in education, running courses on subjects including in the fields of oculoplastic and orbital dissection and cosmetic filler complications. She also conducts regular oculoplastic teaching and research focus group meetings for medical residents, principal house officers, and registrars at the Queensland Eye Institute.

Specialist anaesthetist involved in education, research, and clinical practice. Dr Roessler served as an examiner for ANZCA for the maximum 12 years of which the last five years were as Chairman of the Primary exam. During this time, he developed the first syllabus for the basic sciences. He also served as a visiting external examiner for the Hong Kong College of Anaesthesiology for several years.

Peter has sat on numerous college committees including Safety and Quality Committee, SIMG interview panels and is an SIMG assessor. Between 2010 and 2024, he was the ANZCA Director of Professional Affairs (Policy) responsible for developing and reviewing guidelines such as the multidisciplinary stakeholder collaboration on PG09 on sedation, in addition to which he developed the first set of standards for anaesthesia. His clinical practice has spanned 44 years and covered multiple surgical disciplines with a heavy emphasis on day-stay procedures.

With a career in consulting, law, and multiple facets of the insurance industry spanning over 16 years, Joe brings a technical claims expertise to Bellrock focused on customers and good faith dealings with insurers and service providers.
Joe has managed claims and litigation in Australia, New Zealand, USA, UK, and EU. He has been involved in large and complex litigation in Australia ranging from securities claims, medical malpractice claims, medical indemnity claims, and to large construction disputes playing a key role at mediation alongside defence lawyers to bring repose to negotiations on behalf of insureds and insurers. Prior to a career in insurance in Australia, Joe served as an insurance defence lawyer in the US.
 
Joe specialises in Financial Lines, Healthcare, and Casualty and previously served as the national manager for financial lines and healthcare claims for Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance. Prior to settling into these specialities, Joe handled a wide variety of claims over his career including: Product Recall, Fine Art & Specie, Reinsurance, Strata, Contract Works, Broker E&O, and Prestige Motor. He has experience managing facility business, coverholders, and third-party administrators (TPAs). Additionally, Joe previously served as a Committee Member for the Australian Professional Indemnity Group (APIG) for over 5 years.

Dr. Darryl Hodgkinson is a plastic and reconstructive surgeon with over 30 years’ experience in all aspects of aesthetic and reconstructive surgery. 

He has had over 75 articles published in peer reviewed plastic and reconstructive surgical journals and has been an author of many chapters in plastic surgical books as well as being a member of the editorial board of the International Journal of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery. He is currently a member of multiple international and national societies and has been a faculty member of the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons for 10 years. He is also the former Surgical Dean of the Australasian College of Cosmetic Surgery and Medicine and a past president.
 
Dr. Hodgkinson is one of the few plastic surgeons in the world who holds two post-graduate degrees in plastic surgery, one from the American Board of Plastic Surgery and the other from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. 

He is also the founder of Operation Restore Hope, a surgical mission which has operated on over 2,500 children in the Philippines in the last 20 years with cleft lip and palate surgery. Operation Restore Hope is an Aus-aid endorsed charity for children with severe facial deformities and in 2017, he will be lecturing in Lusaka as a faculty member of the Swiss Charity - Second Chance. 

Dr. Hodgkinson is a keen yachtsman. He won the Sydney to Hobart Yacht Race in 2013. He has been named ''ocean racer of the year 2014''. His other interests include snow skiing, adventure and travel. He is a devoted art collector and bibliophile.

Mr Patrick Tansley practises cosmetic (aesthetic) plastic surgery and revisional surgery in Melbourne and Brisbane under Specialist Registration as a Specialist Plastic Surgeon with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency.

Dr Imaan Joshi is a cosmetic physician and specialist GP who works exclusively in procedural work that includes skin. She has a background in surgical training (Obstetrics and Gynecology) and when she left that training path in 2011, she wanted to continue honing her skills in procedural work. Given her attention to detail and focus on natural, subtle results alongside a lifelong interest in healthy, beautiful skin, moving into Aesthetics seemed a natural decision.

Dr Mobin Master is a specialist imaging expert and a fellow of the Royal Australasian and New Zealand College of radiologists. He has been a practicing consultant radiologist at a major teaching hospital for over 12 years and is also dual trained as an aesthetic physician. He has been developing imaging techniques for facial aesthetics for over 5 years. 

He has published in many radiology journals and in PRS USA, with ground-breaking research on facial aesthetic imaging. His breakthrough publications using MRI on longevity and locatization of dermal filler has gained him world-wide recognition as the leader and pioneer in this aesthetic space. 

Todd Fraser is a senior intensivist, retrieval physician and medical educator.  His passion for teaching has seen him involved in course design, bedside teaching, simulation, app development and mentoring, and has culminated in the founding of a novel non-college CPD Home, Osler.  His key interests are in using technology to facilitate and democratize learning through online approaches.

Dr Bezic is an experienced Cosmetic Surgery Proceduralis; Surgical Fellow of the Australasian College of Cosmetic Surgery and Medicine and a member of the ACCSM Council; a fellow of the American Board of Cosmetic Surgery and a winner of the ABCS Registrars™ Gold Medal.

Dr Ansulette Kay has been practising as a medical doctor for 17 years, and as a cosmetic physician for over ten years.
She is a Fellow of the Faculty of Medicine of the Australasian College of Cosmetic Surgery and Medicine, and continually updates her knowledge and practical skills by attending numerous conferences and workshops in the field of cosmetic medicine, as well as overseeing and providing training for colleagues to raise the standards of care in the wider industry.

Originally from South Africa, she immigrated to NZ where she graduated from Medical School in 2003 (Otago University) after first obtaining a Bachelor of Science Degree majoring in Anatomy (1999, Otago University ).  It was her love and appreciation of Anatomy that lead to an interest in Cosmetic Medicine, a career she pursued after moving to Australia in 2006.

Dr Rastogi grew up in the beach side city of Newcastle, Australia and began his medical career in 1989, graduating from the University of Newcastle Medical School.

He served his surgical residency at home in Australia before travelling overseas to complete his advanced training in cosmetic surgery. Dr Rastogi is a fellow of the Australasian College of Cosmetic Surgery and Medicine and holds procedure specific registration in breast surgery, liposculpture and body contour surgery, cosmetic facial surgery and cosmetic medicine.

Anoop’s cosmetic surgical training was both intensive and inspiring, having the honour of training under acclaimed surgeons such as Georgio Fischer MD in Rome the father of Liposculpture, Docteur Jean-Luc Bachelier in Paris and Dr Anthony Erian the then President of the European Academy for Cosmetic Surgery. Under Dr Erian he trained at the prestigious Cosmetic Surgery units of Guys Hospital London (Nuffield House) and the Cambridge Private Hospital.

Dr Tran is an Australian trained Cosmetic Surgery Proceduralist with over 10 years of postgraduate experience. After completing his Internship and Residency at Liverpool Hospital in Sydney in 2011, he trained in General Surgery with the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (RACS) based at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital and Concord Hospital and was appointed Conjoint Associate Lecturer UNSW. Dr Charlotte Ying is a fully qualified, Australian-trained cosmetic Surgery Proceduralist who graduated from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland with Honours degrees in Medicine, Surgery and Obstetrics and Gynaecology. After completing her internship in Dublin, she relocated to Australia to further her career.

With dual first class honours degrees in Dentistry and Medicine, he is a gifted physician and surgeon.  He has a particular interest in skin and reconstructive surgery.  He regularly operates in surgical theatres with well-known Sydney plastic surgeons.  As well as a keen interest in plastic surgery, Shaun has a passion for cosmetic injections, including dermal fillers and wrinkle injections.

Dr Walsh has studied extensively with leading Australian cosmetic physicians, cosmetic surgeons and plastic surgeons.  He is currently a cosmetic injection trainer, attending private practices, conferences and workshops to share his extensive knowledge of the art and science of cosmetic injection.

Dr Wetton’s special interests are facial rejuvenation (both surgical and non-surgical), cosmetic breast surgery, and body contouring. 

Dr. David Topchian has conducted over 1,500 breast augmentation procedures in Melbourne and Brisbane since 2005. He has extensive experience with a number of Universities and the Australasian College of Cosmetic Surgery and Medicine.

He has a Bachelor of Medicine & Bachelor of Surgery, University of Melbourne; and has fellowships in Cosmetic Surgery from the Australasian College of Cosmetic Surgery and the Royal Australian College of General Practice. Dr Topchian is actively involved in training doctors in breast implant surgery and other aesthetic and cosmetic medical modalities.

Dr Mary Dingley is a cosmetic medicine practitioner with over three decades of experience.  She is a Fellow of the Cosmetic Physicians College of Australasia and sat on the inaugural College board. She was the President of the pre-existing Cosmetic Physicians Society of Australasia in 2007 and 2008. She is also a Fellow of the Australasian College of Cosmetic Surgery and Medicine and was the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine for seven years.

In 1998 Dr Dingley founded her clinic, The Cosmetic Medicine Centre, focusing on minimally-invasive cosmetic procedures while maintaining the ethical base which underpins the traditional values of good medicine. 

Dr Dingley has pioneered the use of proven new techniques and developed training programmes for other doctors interested in using these systems appropriately, while always maintaining a commitment to deliver a high standard of care for her patients.  She is an adviser to government and medicolegal bodies on issues such as energy-based devices, training and cosmetic medicine issues generally.
